Laissez-Faire Political Economy Club
The Laissez-Faire Political Economy Club at the University of Texas in El Paso is intended to promote the best interests and values of students interested in Economics and Political Economy. Our mission is to build an open and engaging community that supports the study and appreciation of Political Economy across campus. We aim to create avenues for professional networking and development, research involvement, assistance, and support for a better understanding of economics. This organization is open to all majors, welcoming any student eager to explore and contribute to the field of Political Economy.
The purpose of The Laissez-Faire Political Economy Club at Â鶹¹ÙÍø shall be:
- To promote the best interests and values for students of all majors at the University of Texas at El Paso, including but not limited to professional networking and development, research opportunities and assistance, and a greater understanding of political economy;
- To act as the representative for undergraduate and graduate students;
- To provide a forum for discussing general concerns, issues, and topics that affect our Organization;
- To coordinate semester activities and ensure cooperation and unity among our Members;
- To uphold the values and respective policies of the Student Engagement & Leadership Center; and
- To uphold the values and mission statement of The University of Texas at El Paso to provide equal access and excellence to members of the Paso Del Norte Region.
