Post MA in Sociology
PhD Program: I am attending Texas A&M University getting my PhD in sociology. I received a university wide Diversity Fellowship for 3 years and department funding for 2 more. I won dissertation grants from Women and Gender Studies and the School of Liberal Arts as well as training grants that sent me to Northeastern University to learn complex analytical methods on LGBT Health, and travel funds to attend conferences from my department. I am building on my master's thesis for my dissertation by adding quantitative and content analysis to my qualitative interviews.
