Dr. Victor Vazquez
Biography
I am a cultural anthropologist with research interest in Caribbean Studies (Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Cuba) Border Studies (Migrants Caravans, Caribbean Migrants at the Border), and Ethnographic Research at the Border. Currently, I’m involved in several projects with students such as; Articles, Advising Master’s Thesis, and conducting Fieldwork Experiences at the Border.
Associate Professor of Instruction in the Sociology and Anthropology Department, University of Texas at El Paso since August 2017. Courses taught: Cultural Anthropology, Drug Use Abuse Trafficking, Ethnographic Methods, Culture of The Caribbean, Puerto Rico Society.
