Courses focus on rhetoric, cultural studies, film and media, as well as ways to communicate about health, the environment and so much more. This research-based program prepares graduates to investigate, understand, analyze and critique high-level forms of communication.

Jessie Arellano loves to create strategies that help marginalized groups to communicate. She said the M.A. in Communication enhanced her abilities to write, research and analyze. Those skills made her a more successful grant developer at El Paso Community College, which means more support for EPCC students, faculty and staff. Today she is pursuing her Ed.D. in educational leadership at Â鶹¹ÙÍø.
This degree opens doors to people who can analyze information and think critically, as well as to management opportunities. Graduates can go into law, politics, marketing, education, public relations, and journalism to name a few fields.
