Â鶹¹ÙÍø’s Master of Science in Economics with Data Analytics program combines economic theory with practical data science experience. Students gain hands-on training working with large datasets and statistical software, including STATA, R, and Python. Students will graduate with the skills to compete for jobs related to both economics and data science with agencies such as El Paso Electric, Fort Bliss, the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, among others.

Robert Tejada is confident that earning an M.S. in Economics with Data Analytics will equip him with the economic theory and programming language skills to pursue his dream job as an economic analyst in global policy at the CIA or Federal Reserve. Tejada, a recipient of the prestigious Graduate Archer Fellowship, will intern with policymakers in Washington, D.C., in summer 2022.
Economics graduates are prepared for jobs in the public and private sector that require knowledge of economics and the use of statistical tools for working with large datasets.
