College of Engineering
Students in the Master of Science in Electrical Engineering gain advanced knowledge in electric power and energy, microelectronics and semiconductor devices, electronics packaging, RF and microwave devices and systems, communication systems, and control and signal processing. Students work with faculty involved in local, national and international collaborations that enhance opportunities for research, technical training and developing professional networks.
Funding is available for fellowships, scholarships and graduate assistantships

Juan Carlos Muñoz credits Â鶹¹ÙÍø with changing his life. On campus, he was involved in the Baja Challenge and the Student Government Association. Off campus, he served internships at NASA and Freeport-McMoRan. Today, he is helping to develop the next generation of electric vehicles as a design release engineer with General Motors.
Graduates have been hired by Texas Instruments, El Paso Electric, Raytheon Technologies, Intel, Microsoft, Amazon, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, IBM, NASA, Blue Origin, national laboratories and more. They are also recruited by companies and government agencies in engineering, health and non-technology sectors.
