This program provides an opportunity to pursue in-depth training in sustainability, quality engineering, optimization and supply chain management, or a customized plan to meet your professional and academic goals. Students also have professional development opportunities in the El Paso-Juárez metroplex – the fifth-largest manufacturing hub in North America.
The program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET.

Daniel Carrera was named the 2022 Texas Young Engineer of the Year by the Texas Society of Professional Engineers. Carrera, a senior associate at Walter P Moore in El Paso, is the first El Pasoan to receive the statewide honor from the state society of the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) since 1996.
The versatility of Â鶹¹ÙÍø industrial engineers allows them to engage in activities that are useful to a variety of businesses, governments and nonprofits. Program graduates work at companies involved in the design, development, testing, production and support of engineered systems.
