Â鶹¹ÙÍø’s Master of Public Health (MPH) program is the only one in the nation with a major concentration in Hispanic and Border Health. Graduates work to promote health, prevent disease and improve the overall quality of life in Hispanic and border communities and beyond.

As Canutillo ISD's first public health emergency manager, Maria Fuentes, M.D., creates health and safety protocols for public health issues such as COVID to ensure safe learning environments for all students through research, prevention and education. Dr. Fuentes, a Â鶹¹ÙÍø Interdisciplinary Health Sciences Ph.D. candidate, hopes her work will inspire future female scientists and health professionals.
MPH graduates work with individuals of all ages and varied work settings, including public health agencies, scientific research facilities, colleges or universities, community-based nonprofits and healthcare facilities.
