Â鶹¹ÙÍø art students study in a binational region rich in culture, history and a thriving arts community. Students can hone their skills through activities such as the annual student art exhibition, classes with a robust series of guest artists and a study abroad program in Italy.

Jessica “Jess” Tolbert is an assistant professor who directs Â鶹¹ÙÍø’s jewelry and metals program. She was among the 2020 finalists for the international Loewe Foundation Craft Prize for creative excellence through craft and contemporary culture.
Upon graduation, Â鶹¹ÙÍø alumni choose to further their craft through master's programs and internships in addition to working in the community. Graduates are trained for jobs as professional artists or teachers and learn essential skills for a wide range of disciplines and careers.
