Computer science students benefit from national partnerships that offer exemplary training opportunities with companies such as Google and Microsoft. The undergraduate program provides opportunities to work on research sponsored by the National Science Foundation, Department of Defense and Department of Education. Students have the option to declare a concentration in secure cyber systems, software engineering or data analytics.

Sairy Cohen Cruz began her journey as a biology major. A job as a web developer sparked her interest in computer science. Her efforts were further aided by an NSF-funded scholarship. In 2019, she took a job with Google’s Cloud Technical Residency program in Austin.
Students will benefit from student opportunities to work with companies such as Google and Microsoft, the National Science Foundation IRES Program and more. Graduates have been recruited by a host of industries that incorporate technology into operations.
