Â鶹¹ÙÍø's theatre arts program trains students in a global repertoire of acting, design, tech and management. At the same time, students will cultivate a culturally and socially informed understanding of theatre as an art and as a tool for social change.
Theatre Arts and Dance offers performance and design opportunities for shows such as "A Christmas Carol en la Frontera"
Faculty are active in their fields, such as writing a musical performed at the Festival of New Musicals in New York City
Choose a concentration in performance, musical theatre, design and technology, or stage management.
Sabrina Fernandez, who earned her bachelor's in theatre arts with a concentration in costume design, developed her skills during a research project to help breast cancer survivors with their fashion choices. Her training helped her land an internship with Nordstrom that became a job as a stylist manager.
Graduates of the theatre arts programs are prepared with the skills necessary to succeed in graduate degree programs or have successful careers in professional and educational theatre.
