Closing the Search
Closing the search is the final step in the faculty recruitment process. Upon receipt of the signed offer letter, the search will be closed and the position announcement will be removed from the Â鶹¹ÙÍø Employment Opportunities webpage. Or, if the search is identified as unsuccessful the respective Dean of the college will approve the position announcement to be removed from the Â鶹¹ÙÍø Employment Opportunities webpage.
It is critical that applicant materials related to your search be retained in conjunction with state and federal records retention guidelines. You may contact the Records Management department at 915-747-8726 or send a message via email to recordsmanagement@utep.edu for any questions you may have in regards to records retention. Please see below records retention checklist for further guidance.
