Federal Work-Study
Federal work-study (FWS) is a need-based program which provides part-time employment opportunities to eligible students to help meet the costs of post-secondary education. Work-study funds may be earned through part-time employment in FWS approved positions either on or off campus. The program is designed to provide students with an opportunity for employment arranged around class schedules.
To be eligible for federal work-study, you must be enrolled at least half-time in the fall and spring semesters, and in at least 3 hours during summer session (i.e. Maymester, Summer I, etc). Students cannot work more than 19 hours a week during any period (term/session) of enrollment. If you are interested in being part of the program, you should complete the FAFSA and all required documents, and seek a job opportunity through the Â鶹¹ÙÍø Career Center's Handshake platform, available at .
